DevOps Consultant (part-time) [gn]

Purpose

At LUMASERV, you will join our DevOps team and support us with your expertise in project management to improve our processes, procedures, and automation for infrastructure and operations services.

The role includes consulting and operational team management, as well as planning and implementing processes and automation solutions. You’re not required to maintain or operate any systems.

You should be familiar with Ansible, process automation, Notion for information architecture, and GitLab. Communication occurs through Slack, with a minimum of two team meetings per week. You will be working in a private cloud environment.

• overall increase in velocity for tasks and deliveries of our service

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• management of our DevOps team (4 people including founding member)

• management of DevOps task board

• implementation of processes and automations using Ansible and Gitlab

• extension of our information architecture in Notion

Skills / Qualifications

• Good understanding of operating server infrastructure at scale

• Understanding of Linux standards

• Knowledge in infrastructure security best practises

• Hands-on experience with Ansible and its automation capabilities

• Experience with process modeling and documentation

• Basic knowledge of ISO27001
